Malpasonline

A E-commerce shop selling tractor parts, engine spares and cab accessories. With the guidance of Curvica we improved database performance and super charged the web server

The Project

Websomatic was asked by Curvica to investigate and improve the performance of the backend Magento CMS to this E-commerce website.

Improving database performance

Websomatic improved the performance and scalability of the MYSQL database by refining the configuration and ensuring the maximum usage of the available memory resources.

Turbo charging the web server

By enabling PHP cache strategies, Websomatic significantly reduced the amount of heavy lifting that the web server was required to do per request. This also had the added benefit of string common query results and so calls to the backend database was also minified.
