My Heart Privacy Policy
My Heart is designed to keep your health information private and under your control.
What data we collect
My Heart does not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your data. All information you enter — your medicines, doses, symptoms, and profile details — is stored only on your device, in an encrypted local database. We do not operate any server that receives or stores your data, and we cannot see it.
HealthKit
If you grant permission, My Heart reads certain vitals (heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, respiratory rate) from Apple Health around the time you log a symptom, to save alongside your record. My Heart never writes data to Apple Health, and this data is stored only on your device, under the same encryption as the rest of your data. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device's Settings app, under Privacy & Security > Health > My Heart.
Face ID / biometric authentication
If enabled, My Heart uses Face ID or a PIN to lock the app. This is handled entirely by your device's operating system — My Heart never has access to your biometric data itself.
Analytics and tracking
My Heart does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not know how you use the app, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone, because we never receive it in the first place.
Data retention and deletion
Since all data lives only on your device, deleting the app deletes all your data. There is currently no cloud backup — if you lose or replace your device without transferring your data, it cannot be recovered.
